Alan Brown is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he received his B.S. in Accounting and Business Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Alan has over 40 years of experience in hospitality accounting, finance, and consulting and is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA). He has previously held positions at Santa Barbara Beach and Golf Resort in Curacao, Christophe Harbour in St. Kitts, Jade Mountain and Anse Chastanet Resorts in St. Lucia, St. James's Club in Antigua, Pacific Islands Clubs in Guam, Bali Golf and Country Club in Indonesia, and Seabrook Island Resort in Charleston. It was in Charleston that he fell in love with the low country. Alan and his wife, Christina, came back to the low country 16 years ago when they moved to Pawleys Island. In his spare time, he volunteers at All 4 Paws Animal Rescue in Pawleys Island and is their Golf Ball Donation Program Coordinator. He is also a member of the Grand Strand British Car Club.
