EQUITY MEMBERSHIPS

Wachesaw Plantation Club is a private, Member-Owned Equity Club providing access to  outstanding amenities.  An Equity Membership permits a member and other persons of their immediate family to use the facilities upon payment of the applicable dues.  Often, an Equity Membership transfers with the sale of a home at Wachesaw Plantation.  When this is the case, the buyer must come to the Club prior to closing to apply for membership and submit the appropriate application fee. 

When purchasing a home at Wachesaw Plantation that does not include Equity Membership, the buyer has the choice of Equity or Non-Equity Membership depending on the family’s needs.

Equity Memberships may be purchased by non-property owners of Wachesaw Plantation.

To be considered for membership, all applicants must complete a membership application.  The application must be accompanied by an application fee.  Checks should be made payable to Wachesaw Plantation Club.  The Club and its Membership Committee will evaluate all applications after reviewing credit history.

Golf Equity or Plantation Equity?

Full Equity Members have an option of two different levels of membership:  Golf Equity or Plantation Equity.  The Golf Equity Membership allows the member and the immediate family to use all of the amenities of the Club with no limitations.  Golf Equity Members shall have one (1) vote per Equity certificate. 

Plantation Equity Membership is designed for those whose primary interests are other than golf.  Plantation Equity Members and the immediate family have full use of all club amenities with the exception of the golf course.  Plantation Equity Members may play 12 round of golf per year.  Fees for the Plantation Equity Membership will be 50% of the Family/Single Full Membership dues and operating assessments, which are determined each year by the Board of Directors.  Plantation Members shall pay full capital assessments.   The Plantation Equity members shall have one (1) vote per Equity certificate.
